During the visit, our specialist will collect data on the evolution of your pregnancy and delivery, as well as any aspect related to motherhood. You will share your experience in childbirth and your current emotional state.
This home care not only serves to monitor your progress during pregnancy but also before and after it. In addition, our professional will give you advice and information about baby care and any question related to nutrition, bathing and grooming, changing nappies, etc.
The midwife will perform a physical examination of the woman: breasts, the appearance of the lochia, scar from the cesarean section, if any. In this way, they will be able to provide you with a series of recommendations, either to alleviate discomfort or to correct erroneous behaviours that are being carried out.
Without forgetting a check out of the newborn, examining the appearance of them in general, nutritional status, navel, crying, reflexes, etc.
Our midwife will end her visit with a psychological assessment, to rule out emotional problems that may end up being important. For example, the development of possible postpartum depression.
